Luca Mazzillo was born in Rome in 1971, and lives in this city with his wife and daughter.

Luca started playing keyboards at 13. He learned basic musical notions from his middle school music teacher, and from a course Roberto Colombo (keyboard player of Matia Bazar) . Between 18 and 19 years of age he wrote most of his compositions, both lyrics and music.

He graduated in engineering, started working as an electronic designer, and … finally, at the age of 40, started a family: in the meantime, the love for the piano was reborn.

On February 13, 2016, his first album, “Lifewalk”, was released, containing 13 solo piano pieces. On July 9th 2016, the DVD of “Il viaggiatore e l’imperatore”, with his original soundtrack, was projected at the event “Invito alla Lettura” at Castel Sant’Angelo in Rome. On November 26, 2016 his second album “Il viaggiatore e l’imperatore“, was released, with 7 tracks contained in the homonymous DVD and 6 unpublished. On May 5, 2018 his third album “Flares” was released, 11 solo piano pieces, a project financed by a successful crowdfunding campaign.

He performs his music, in many House Concerts, playing pianos in train stations (#PianoTrenoTour), and participating in public events such as Piano City Milano, Piano City Napoli, Street Music Festival (Roma-Fiumicino), Festa della Musica (Roma).

Today, his composition style is mostly influenced by authors like Ludovico Einaudi, George Winston, Yiruma.
